Hawaii is a chain of islands located in the Pacific Ocean that became an official state of the United States on August 21, 1959. Hawaii is 2,300 miles away from the lower 48, but that doesn’t deter tourists from flocking to Hawaii by the thousands. The popularity of this remote state is due to its tropical climate, its breathtaking views and its amazing attractions.
